Floga Monthly – Sturgeon Moon

August closes with the Sturgeon Moon rising full in Pisces – and this month, it rises in eclipse. A partial lunar eclipse on August 28th will shadow nearly all of the moon’s surface, turning the sky into something ancient and strange: the light dimming, the edges blurring, the boundary between what is visible and what is hidden dissolving for a few brief hours.
